Dave's Rant- $25 million just doesn't go that far anymore
Welcome to the DEBUT edition of Dave's Rant!
I'm not Angry Beyonce, but I am Dave, hear me roar.
Michael Phelps- Most people under 50 yawned. Most over 50 harshed Mike's buzz.
Manny Ramirez- A baseball player turns down $25 million for one year. Hmmm, are we sure he's not running a bank or something?
Christian Bale- His tirade and subsequent apology felt like a drunken tirade something to the effect of "YOU SUCK! I HATE YOU! No, dude, but seriously, I love you MAN!!!"
Global warming- It's being reported that water levels along the U.S. coasts may rise over 15 feet by century's end. Glacial SHELVES are melting (for the record, that's MILES of VERY THICK ICE). For the blockheads that don't believe global warming exists, two words: wet suit.
Republican'ts- Apparently 3 whole Republicans have some sort of soul to help out our financially devastated country. The others are busy figuring out name-calling strategies for Bill O'Reilly.
Typo much?- And finally, this really doesn't seem like that serious of an illness, although apparently it killed a veteran actor...from popeater.com:
"James Whitmore, February 6: The Tony- and Emmy-award winning actor passed away three months after being diagnosed with lunch cancer. He is survived by three sons and eight grandchildren."
